General

The Motech plate holder is designed as technical hardware for motorcycles. It contains mechanical, electrical and electronic components.

Installation and use are at the buyer's own responsibility.

Folding function and road traffic

The folding function of the plate holder is not intended for public road use and is not permitted there.

It may only be used on private property, race tracks or closed areas, where locally allowed.

Tail light and plate light may carry an E-mark. This E-mark relates only to the respective lighting and does not mean that the folding function or the overall conversion is approved for public road use.

The rider is responsible for checking and complying with the applicable rules in their own country.

Installation and responsibility

Installation is carried out at the buyer's own risk.

Cables, connectors and mounting must be installed safely.

If unsure, installation should be carried out by a qualified person or workshop.

App and distraction

The Motech App is intended for configuration and operation while stationary.

Do not operate the app while riding.

Smartphone use while riding may be restricted or prohibited locally.

Local rules

Rules around plate position, lighting, plate folding and accessories vary between countries.

The buyer is responsible for compliance with all local rules in the country of use.
